In most midwestern soils, the standard Furrow Brow blades will outlast the planter. There are some soils, however, which are both sticky and sandy enough to wear Furrow Brow blades faster than normal. In these situations, the blades may occasionally need to be replaced.The standard blades on KinzeBrow-420 (pictured) may be easily replaced at a reasonable cost. Blades are packaged in pairs with bolts included, so order one kit per planter row.
