In most midwestern soils, the standard Furrow Brow blades will outlast the planter. There are some soils, however, which are both sticky and sandy enough to wear Furrow Brow blades faster than normal. In these situations, the blades may occasionally need to be replaced. The standard blades on KinzeBrow-400 (pictured) may be easily replaced at a reasonable cost. Blades are packaged in pairs with bolts included, so order one kit per planter row.
This Furrow Brow is for Kinze 3000 Series and newer planters. Each row kit includes two Furrow Brows (L&R) with adjustable blades which allow the user to adjust for gauge wheel tire wear and proper alignment over the gauge wheel tire. Also included are two SAE 1/2" grade 8 bolts to replace the shorter bolts on your planter's gauge wheel arms. Each order includes detailed installation instructions.
